Numbered parallel pull rates and values
How likely you are to pull each numbered parallel, which box gives you the best chance, and roughly what each one is worth at the recommended retail price.
The facts
What is printed, and what each box guarantees
- All 100 Hogwarts cards come in five numbered parallels: Rare Rainbow /250, Super-Rare Blue Holo /100, Ultra-Rare Quartz /50, Hyper-Rare Gold Quartz /10, Unique Black Quartz 1/1.
- That makes 411 numbered copies of every Hogwarts card, and 41,100 numbered parallels in the whole set. Only 100 Unique Black Quartz 1/1s exist.
- The MetalForge wand cards come in 6 designs with 1,000 of each, and there is one in every Treasure Box.
- Single Premium Packs can contain numbered parallels too, but none is guaranteed.
| Box | RRP | Numbered parallels | Chromatic Sparkles | Treasure Variants | MetalForge wands |

What your numbered parallel is likely to be
Every box above guarantees at least one numbered parallel. These are the chances of each tier when you pull one.
| Parallel | Printed | Chance | Odds | This rare or rarer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rare Rainbow /250 | 25,000 | 60.8% | 1 in 1.6 | Every pull |
| Super-Rare Blue Holo /100 | 10,000 | 24.3% | 1 in 4.1 | 1 in 2.6 |
| Ultra-Rare Quartz /50 | 5,000 | 12.2% | 1 in 8.2 | 1 in 6.7 |
| Hyper-Rare Gold Quartz /10 | 1,000 | 2.4% | 1 in 41 | 1 in 37 |
| Unique Black Quartz 1/1 | 100 | 0.24% | 1 in 411 | 1 in 411 |
A specific card's 1/1 is a 1 in 41,100 pull. For a specific card's Gold Quartz /10 it is 1 in 4,110.
Odds per box
| Box | Cost per numbered | Quartz /50 or rarer | Gold /10 or rarer | 1/1 | Average spend for a 1/1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium Blaster Box | £24.99 | 14.8% | 2.7% | 1 in 411 | £10,271 |
| Premium Collector's Box | £25.00 | 27.5% | 5.3% | 1 in 206 | £10,273 |
| Collector's Treasure Box | £75.00 | 14.8% | 2.7% | 1 in 411 | £30,825 |
The Blaster and Collector's Box cost the same per numbered parallel: the Collector's Box simply gives you two in one box. A Treasure Box costs three times as much per numbered parallel, because most of its price pays for the Treasure Variants and wand.
Assumptions
- Numbered parallels are spread evenly through the boxes, so the one you pull is equally likely to be any of the 41,100 printed.
- These are long-run averages. Any one box can do much better or worse.
Estimated value
What each card is worth at RRP
Share out each box's recommended retail price between the cards that make it worth buying, and you get a rough value for each. On average, a numbered parallel is worth about £24.50.
| Card | Copies of each | Estimated value |
|---|---|---|
| Rare Rainbow /250 | 250 | £8.06 |
| Super-Rare Blue Holo /100 | 100 | £20 |
| Ultra-Rare Quartz /50 | 50 | £40 |
| Hyper-Rare Gold Quartz /10 | 10 | £201 |
| Unique Black Quartz 1/1 | 1 | £2,014 |
| Chromatic Sparkle insert | about 2,055 | £0.98 |
| Treasure Variant | about 1,200 | £16 |
| MetalForge wand | 1,000 | £19 |
Chromatic Sparkles are far more common than even the /250s, so they add very little. In a Treasure Box, the Treasure Variants and wand account for about £50 of the £75.
Assumptions
- Only numbered parallels, Chromatic Sparkles, Treasure Variants and wands are counted. Every other card in the box is treated as worth nothing.
- Value goes up in step with rarity: a card with half as many copies is worth twice as much, so a /10 is worth ten times a /100.
- The Blaster's £24.99 pays for its numbered parallel and its half share of a Chromatic Sparkle. The Collector's Box, at £49.99 for twice the contents, gives the same answer.
- The extra £50 a Treasure Box costs over a Blaster pays for its two Treasure Variants and wand.
- Copies are worked out from what is guaranteed: one wand per Treasure Box means about 6,000 Treasure Boxes, and every box has one Chromatic Sparkle for every two numbered parallels.
- Values are averages across all 100 cards. Popular characters will be worth more and others less, and real selling prices can be very different.
